I modeled for photographer Adina Doria at the Known Gallery in LA. It was a fun shoot because I got to be painted on my arms and neck. Check out her site to see the whole set.

Taken from Element 151’s site: “THE SUMMER FILM INITIATIVE WAS ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE A REAL LIFE FILMMAKING EXPERIENCE TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN SAN JOSE, CA. OUR GOAL WITH THE PROGRAM IS TO OFFER A HANDS ON INTRODUCTION INTO THE WORLD OF INDEPENDENT FILMMAKING IN HOPES THAT A HIGHER EDUCATION IN FILMMAKING WILL BE PURSUED AFTER HIGH SCHOOL.“

Spike’s 2010 Scream Awards

shapeimage_1 (67)

Yesterday I booked and shot a segment for SpIke’s 2010 Scream Awards. The segment will air on Tuesday, October 19th, 2010 on Spike. It was a fun shoot in the parking lot of the Greek Theatre. I got to play a vampire with some awesome fangs and colored contacts. I ended the shoot at 3am and covered in fake blood. It was the perfect shoot to get in the spirt of things!

Target Shoot

shapeimage_1 (66)

I had a great time on set for the Target Holiday commercial. The spot was directed by Mark Romanek, who also directed One Hour Photo and many other music videos. He was great to work with. It was also great to see Pam Neal again. She did my hair and makeup for the shoot. I first meet her for the Flaunt Magazine shoot and got to work with her again on The Runaways.

Old Navy Print Shoot

shapeimage_1 (64)

Today I did a print ad shoot for Old Navy’s Spring 2011 lineup. It was a very fun shoot to work on. I got to work with fellow actor and model Chadd Smith.

Halestorm Music Video

The new video for the song “Poison” by Halestorm is out, so check it out above! I play the 1940’s cop holding the camera. I’m not in much but it was still a lot of fun to hang out with my friends Anton Pardoe, Jeremy Alter, Mike Latch, Joe D. and the band’s bassist Josh Smith!
We shot the video at an amazing house on the cliffs of Malibu. It was build in 1927 by a man who made his fortune in wool. It felt like Norma Desmond lived there, which perfectly fit the noir feel of the video.

Five Proof

shapeimage_1 (63)

I got to work with my friends from Element 151 on their SFI project “Five Proof”. I played Shawn, a kid in high school coming to terms with his identity and where he fits in society. The shoot was very technical and required a lot from me and the other actors, beyond just learning lines. I have high hopes the final project will be stealer in production value.

Halestorm Video Shoot

shapeimage_1 (62)

Today I got to play a 1940’s cop for the upcoming video “Poison” by the band Halestorm. There was certainly a Valley Crossfit connection: the video was directed and produced by members Anton Pardoe & Jeremy Alter; featured head coach Mike Latch and members Joe and myself; and lastly, the band’s bassist is member and good friend Josh Smith!
We shot the video at an amazing house on the cliffs of Malibu. It was build in 1927 by a man who made his fortune in wool. It felt like Norma Desmond lived there, which perfectly fit the noir feel of the video. Look for it soon!

DVD for sale

The 41 Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It came out on DVD today. It’s available at most video retailers and online. It will be on Netfilx early next month. I’m in a scene spoofing the film Twilight. I wonder if you can guess who I’m suppose to be? Watch the trailer above to see if you can figure it out.

The music video for The Spill Canvas’ “Our Song” premiered this week on MTV2.com. Check out it above!

Hope In The City

Tonight I walked in my first fashion show in the heart of LA’s Downtown. It was an awesome experience and I would like to thank designer Rey Aquino for the opportunity.
The show was called Hope In The City and was a benefit for several charities.

The Spill Canvas music video

Had a great shoot working on the new music video for The Spill Canvas. The video is for their new single “Our Song” off their upcoming album. Chris LeDoux and Jeremy Alter shared the director’s chair on this one and even Meiert Avis stopped to help produce. My co-star is the very talented and lovely, Kelsey McNamee.

Cheer Up Sam World Premiere

Cheer Up Sam is having it’s world Premiere today at Camera 3 in downtown San Jose at 7pm & 10pm. Meet the Cast and Crew of the movie and come support your friends and local filmmakers!
Taken from the official site: “Nominated for the Harold Crain Dramatic Writing Award, "Cheer Up, Sam" is a heartfelt comedy about a heartbroken youth who drops out of college and moves back home following a breakup with his High School sweetheart. While trying to find the happiness he lost, Sam, instead, finds himself being pursued by retail coworker Lisa, a witty, tom-girl who lives at her father's junkyard. In between riding the couch with his stoner High School buddies and tolerating his zany parents, Sam will have to make a choice between holding onto the dreams of his past or learning how to love again.”

Michael Bublé music video

shapeimage_1 (59)

Today I worked my first day on Michael Bublé’s newest video for the song “Hold On”. I got to work with Meiert Avis again, who co-directed the Rise Against video I was in last year. My friends Jeremy Alter and Anton Pardoe are producing the video as well.
The most changeling part of the day was learning to ice skate, as I have never skated before in my life, but by the end of the day I got the hang of it. Overall it was a great shoot and I am looking forward to working tomorrow, the last day of shooting.

L.A. Noire video game shoot

I can’t say much about this one till more information gets publicly released, but it was a great time recording dialogue and having my face scanned for the game.
